Roses are one of the most famous types of flower if not on the top of the list. It is well known and well used on different flower arrangements such as bouquets and wedding flower arrangements. Here in the Philippines there are locally produced and imported roses that are being used in different arrangements. There are tons of varieties of roses but here are some of the few that are most commonly used. One type is the locally grown rose (some classify them as the gala and success variety). Among the imported roses variety are the China roses, Holland variety roses, and of course the famous Ecuadorian roses. Ecuadorian roses have the biggest buds while the local variety is smaller in size. The local variety is the most commonly used for bouquets due to its availability and price. Local Philippine varieties of roses are of good quality despite of its cost.

What are the common colors available?

The most common colors available for any variety of roses are the red, white and pink roses. There are also other type of colors such as peach, yellow, lavender, blue and orange but they are used based on their availability. You may order the rare color variety in advance (around a week earlier to be sure) so to ensure its availability to be used on your arrangement.

Especially during Valentines, red roses are very in demand. You may choose from round bouquet and arm bouquet. What makes the arrangement special is the quality of flowers used, material of the covers and the artistic approach of the florist.
